LAGOONS

Two important Lagoons have special geographical significance on the municipal surround.

Imboassica Lagoon located closely to the urban centre, although unadvisable for bathing it is in great use  for  both, water sports and fishing.  Appreciated there , too,  are  the beautiful sunsets providing both pleasure  and  unforgettable  experience..

Jurubatiba Lagoon  maintains its unpolluted integrity.Giving rise to its  namesake the Jurubatiba National Park. Unfortunately, it  is  strictly prohibited  to fish throughout its long extension..
